I am getting lots of artifacts

Well the rig im using is in my sig (the vid card is a refurb from newegg..) and i keep getting artifacts when i play games and even when im using avant or when im looking at my desktop. I dont get THAT many but they come and go and reappear whenever and wherever they want. Could the problem be my video card? Or is it the monitor? currently using 75hz refresh rate at 1152 x 864 resolution... :confused:

proabably your video card....try updating the drivers

Yeah a clean instrall of windows and drivers could helpm Havyoiu overclocked the card at all. I dont know if you can on Nvidia cards but if ya can that could prevoke it

You can overclock almost any graphics card.
Artificats you say. Well it may be that your overclock is to high, and this could cause more heat which leads me to the next possibility. Weather or not your card is overclocked it may not be being cooled properly. Maybe you can check to make sure that there is a fan on it and if there is if the fan is spinning, and heck maybe throw a 80 mm fan over it to get some air movement.

That or the card could have just gotten fried :)
