Dell 23" Widescreen...anyone? others maybe?

I currently have a 21" Trinitron, the Dell P1110, have had it for about 2 years and it has been simply amazing. Unfortunately I dont have room for it anymore. So I've been looking at LCD Tvs for my bedroom so that I can consolidate the space. Naturally the beast in me wants a widescreen :D

I have been looking at this Samsung 22" widscreen LCD tv, 16ms, 1280x760, 600:1 contrast...looks pretty good, possibly even for games. But then I noticed Dell just released a 23" model only problem is 25ms response time.

I game, every genre, do photoshop, lightwave, flash design, spreadsheets, hell...I do it all. So have any of you used the Dell? Do you guys think I should spend the extra for the samsung or maybe even something else? TIA. :beer:

btw I have about 1.2-1.6k to spend...rather not spend 1600 on a monitor, but I will if need be.

perhaps you should check out this thread: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=308794 I believe the 20 inch monitor fits your budget well, and apple is known to make high quality displays.

you might want to check out hp's new 23 inch lcd. It is 1600 dollars and it is 16 ms response time.
