will i have a question, when you hook it up to your tv or what ever what else would you need to get the audio to go to your tv and also will the quality be clear if your tv is neither flat screen, hdtv, or plasma ?

uhii hook my video to my tv all the time..dont use tv audio but you could get the cable to go from your sound card to you TVs audio port. and itll be as clear as your tv can handle.

I can read text just fine on my TV, but my TV is a 61" HDTV...

S-video, it is readable but blurry, but with DVI it is pretty dang sharp.

That should work pretty good. The only thing to note is that the max resolution for most standard tvs is 800x600 at 60hz. Good for movies or games but not so good for word processing.

And as stated above you'll get the best picture quality that the tv can get. If you have an svid out I'd use it rather than sticking a bunch of converters in the middle. The less you mess with the signal the better it will be.

I've been looking into this for a while, could your TV sub as a monitor then?
