Monitor Flickering

Do most new monitors these days flicker, im going back from LCD to CRT. I switched only cause my old 19 inch flicker like nuts. Right now my monitor is very close to my TV, im wondering if that will interupt the monitor.

Upping the refresh rate on CRT's usually will remove flicker.

yeah, a lot of times u have to adjust the refresh rate on new monitors. you'll especially notice it if you are in microsoft word, or something really bright.
