Ok i borrowed a friends DV cam to record videos of me making flights on my computer. His camera has a USB 2.0 port but for some reason it doesn't. detect the camera when I plug it in. I went to sony's sight and downloaded the drivers and still nothing. Is there something I should know about getting this thing to work?

USB 2.0 is for still images.

You need Firewire for video.
