This month's MaxPC has a review on 8 LCD's and their gaming performance. I believe the BenQ did the worst.
Stolen from MaxPC
Bad news for BenQ. The FP767-12 didn't get a thumbs up from any of our editors. Blurriness was pronounced, making Need For Speed look like a film someone was trying unsuccessfully to pull into focus. Image quality took yet another big hit with interpolation. Even worse, most editors felt that the brightness, contrast, and color quality were inferior to even midrange CRTs. Oh well - thanks for playing!
The 3 LCD's that passed the test (out of 8): Samsung 172x ($650), Planar PL1700 ($460), and the Dell 2001FP ($900).
Maybe the Planar wouldve been a better deal for all who bought the BenQ (including me).
