~7'' LCDs

Hello, I need a small lcd that is around 7 inches.. I know there are tons of ones out there ,but I really want one that will do vga in or dvi or somesort of higher quality than rca..

I really need color as well ;)

But the tricky thing is.. it needs to be a touch screen. I will even sacrafice the quality (down to rca connections) to get the touch screen.

any ideas? and this needs to be as inexpensive as possible, preferably under $200

Do you know that you need a controller first, then find a LCD that works with it?

The tricky thing about doing LCD mods is that it can be really hard to find a controller to match the LCD you get... From what I have heard previously, its much easier to find a controller than find a LCD that works with it.

Don't know much on this, but that is what I think I know. :)

Touchscreens alone are going to double the price of any LCD, let alone one that's near that size and uses VGA.
The last I looked, anything resembling what you're talking about started at a based price of $450 to $500.

They're 800 x 480, 7" diag. and have a serial touchscreen connection. You can find a bunch of them on ebay.

77$ :) (luckly the seller is selling the controller card with this.. and luckly for my he didn't mention that in the auction.. as the price would of been a lot more)
