Ok, I know "Best" is subjective
But does anyone know of a good high quality 19" monitor? CRT... no LCD for me.
I have been looking at these two monitors:
Viewsonic P95F+B
Viewsonic E90F
Nec FE991SB
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

Hello,
I'm in the same boat as you are right now, looking for a nice 19" monitor. I think I'll be getting the Viewsonic P95F+B soon. I found this to be the better bang for the buck monitor after doing some research and consumer reviews have been great about it.
Good luck,

How ya doin?
I have the p95f+ and i love it. Probably one of the best purchases I have made. Its got a choice of 3 brightness settings for individual things, dvd, games and text. It took me awhile to decide which one to get. I was looking at that monitor as well, but decided that the v-s had better picture quality.
Anyways, just wanted to let you know... my 02 cents

yep i've got dual moniters, one is the viewsonic you are talking about and the other is a sony trintron 17".....i would go for the trintron personally i notice that the trinitron has a sharper image, and looks better, but the viewsonic kicks ass for gaming.
take a look at the Sony Trinitron

I have the P95f+ B and I absolutley love it. I was a little hesitant about spending so much on a CRT instead of just going with a LCD monitor for a little more, but I can honestly say I do not regret purchasing this monitor at all. The 3 levels of brightness are great for switching from desktop into games and I use it all the time. Basically this monitor rocks, the only thing is now I am think I might want to get a 21" one :p .

I'm looking at possibly getting a 19" CRT too. I looked at the Viewsonic one also, but I thought about another VS 17" that I had and it drove me nuts because everytime the resolution would change, i would have to resize the screen! It would never stay in one place, always would shift or shrink. Anyone notice their 19" VS monitors do that?

The Vision Master Pro 454. Definately a contender for best 19" CRT. 1600x1200 @ 105 Hz, ISM 0.25 tube (sorry, not Trinitron)? :)
