LCD comparison

If you could have the Sony SDM-S73 17" or the NEC/MITSUBISHI LCD1760V 17" , which would you take?

I'm trying to decide on an LCD to buy. There will be gaming involved, and LAN's so something sturdy would be nice. When I'm not gaming I'm chatting/reading the web. Any help in deciding would be great. I just picked these two out because they were in my price range... anything around their prices would be fine if the model is superior.

Very very soon newer and faster panels will be out. Both the next-gen AU panel and the latest samsung panel are rated at 12ms. THG said that reviews of these competing panels are coming soon, so I would wait for those reviews.

If you must buy now for whichever one you think has the best styling. Both those monitors use the same panel, and only have analog hook-ups.

I wouldn't buy any LCD unless it had DVI. I hooked up my 213T into my 15pin and it looked like total crap. DVI is the best .. ahem ... only way to go.
