mobile lcd setup

ok i have some old ibm think pads and of corse they have lcd's but there conected to the mobo using little ribond / jumper i wana wire the lkcd up to a plug that i can put in the power plug in my care then the video i wana wire up to a plug so i can plug a gaming sytem (i wana use the origon nintendo in my car) so is this posable? how will i do this? how do i hook a lcd up to it
i have a frend that wants to hook a wireless camra up to it so he will help me and he is an electrition so all i wana know is is it posable? if so do i have to use the mobo or will the lcd just take the video that the gaming sytem gives it and it will show up??
