fix scratch on crt monito?

i have a ~20" crt lg studioworks 995e monitor that has a noticable gash in the glass (one of my brothers decided to take a screwdriver to it when he was ****ed off about something, then tried to sand it down and just made it worse :rolleyes: )

is there anything CHEAP (aka household) that i could use to fix it / make it less noticable?

Try the chemical filler used for windshield cracks, I forget its name.
