when using the DVI cable option does that disable some funtions on the OSD menu example the contrast and color adjustment? and the auto adjust says not available when I use the DVI, but when I use the analog D-cable everything is enabled. Is this right? There is nothing in the manual about it either,or on the web site....

Yep, that's how it is. Nice Monitor btw ;).

Anything with the screen syncing should be disabled. Colour contrast and brightness should still be controllable.

contrast is not controllable in digital mode. Only brightness is on the slightly older samsungs.

Yeh thanks for the replies......I called Samsung and they said the same thing no contrast but the brightness will work so I think Im good to go......I have to get used to this thing its so big.....and didnt notice any ghosting at all playing BF1942.....
