nForce chipsets and ATI cards

does the nForce / nForce2 chipset cause any problems with an ATI video card? i'm looking at buying an nf2 board when I get some money but i'm not planning to get an nVidia vid card if my radeon won't work.

just wondering.

also, what are the drawbacks to nf2?

i was looking at the a7v8x (i think that's the one) and i've got an 8500, not a 9500 (if it makes a difference =P)
