I am finally a proud owner of a Vapo Chill Unit..WOHOOO

My problem now is I have a pretty bad Barton 2500+ that will only overclock to 2213. Now I understand that this is a 413Mhz overclock and this is nothing to scoff at but in my quest for more speed I want a better chip. I also do understand that with overclocking when you get a chip it really boils down to luck of the draw, but I do remember a time when certian sites/ebay sellers would sell chips that they tested to run overcloked at varying speeds. Knowing this I recently looked and have not been able to find anyone that sells such chips. On top of that I can not find any place that even sells chips with "Specific Stepping Codes" so maybe I can up my chances of getting a better overclockable cpu. Does anyone know of a place that I can get such a deal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have spent the bucks on a vapor chill you should get at least a 200fsb default xp3000 ... you should have a fair shot at 2800mhz and the slight possibility of getting 2900.

You said I should get a 200fsb 3000+. I thought the 3000+'s only come in 333fsb & 400fsb flavors?

Sorry I tend to think in bios setting FSBs... 200 that I mentioned was the 400 you mentioned. Best Wafer possible is of course the 3200 if cost dosn't mean too much to you.
