Hi all. Well, well...that was interesting... my system doesnt do cr@p now... i suppose i should explain what i mean... I went to reformat, to get everything ready for a LAN party... it was late, so i decided to install windows the next morning, well, i did some cable cleaning the next morning, then went to install and nothing happens... I dont know what happened... all the cables are in their right places... i took out all the pci cards... i tried stripping down the componentry... i even tried using a screwdriver to turn it on instead of the power button... Well...err-umm...thats all...yeah... my one friend thinks that i may have overclocked a bit too high...

(I actually am thinking that when i was cleaning...that i may have cracked the core when my screwdriver dropped on the heatsink...i just dont want to think that was what happened - can the cracks be too small to notice? one of my eyes cant do close-up, so...)

well...know what...i'm going to go throw it in the street...brb...lol

If I was you id completely strip out the case. Take everything out and put everything back in reseating everything as you go along. Check all psu cables, all wiring, etc.

I know u have probably done this already but make sure you check all the dumb stuff (power cord, swtich, and make sure the powersupply is set to 115) God knows i have spend hours taking apart my machine when turns out it wasnt even plugged in.

Try reseating the CPU HSF, if you have overheatingprotection, and the HSF is seated badly, after being bumped, it probably won't boot.

Probably it just needed a cmos clear? I've noticed that if you oc beyond a certain point on nforce2's your computer will act fine until the PSU stops getting power (killswitch or unpluged)... after that, when pluged back in it wont boot up period. Something about it not remembering voltage settings until post after that happens... so if you can't post at default volts with your overclock, you can't post at all after that happens. That's just what I recall hearing though.
