Check pricewatch.com under 'motherboard combos' and you should find what you need. On another note, one post is really enough, just wait and it will probably be answered.

Sorry about that, this forum is UBB right? That would explain a lot, I've had a lot of problems with it in the past.

This forum is a vbulletin. My forum had similar problems. When you submit a reply or thread, sometimes it acts like it didnt find the host and often people click submit again.

Just as a note, combos are in most cases more expensive than buying the two (or three if it comes with RAM) components and putting it together yourself.

tigerdirect.com had a 2.4 ghz celeron bundled with a dfi motherboard I think. I believe it came to about 110, plus shipping, maybe that is a good deal for you? I am thinking about it myself, which would be great, considering I'm running an old amd duron @1.1 ghz.

P4 Celeron's are crap. If you need to save the money go AMD. The performance for the same price will be higher.

A P4 Celeron gives you all the low cache of an AMD T-bred (in fact, half, at 128K) and all the low IPC of a Pentium 4. The result - very low performance.

Motherboard/CPU bundles with real components will almost always vost more than individual components.

just go with a A-bit NF7-s AMD mobo with one of those new 1700+ cpus. That would offer great performance, huge overlcoking headroom, and it would only cost about $160. Plus you would be getting built in audigy2 quality sound and SATA raid on the mobo. Cant beat that...

You could try checking Fry's if you're close to one. Sometimes they have good combo deals.

the best place for combos is frys. usually online combos are horrible and if you buy them separate its cheaper. another good place or decent place would be excaliberpc which has nf7-s 2.0 and a AMD cpu chip combo

good luck
