I stuck my new tuner card in my computer last night. Its an MSI TV@nywhere that i just picked up yesterday. I hooked every thing up, installed the drivers and software, then ran the program. (Intervideo WinDVR v2.0) It is very buggy, the picure is low quality (though it may be the cabling used), and the software won't close at all- have to cntrl-alt-del and sometimes it'll close, then come right back up into the program. I noticed that IV has v3.0 out, but wants me to pay $40USD to upgrade it, and i'm not about to do that. I'm scouring for an updated MSI version, as this software is by Intervideo, but MSI tagged it as MSI PVS. (personal video system) Any one have the same product/ problem, or any suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

I'm very disapointed at MSI right now- this software is buggy, and there is no help on their site that i can find. Major disappointment.

edit- Hehe, go figure.... not even 10 minutes after posting this, i finally found the msi page on the Tuner card. Granted, this was the first thing i looked for last night, but when i found the product spec sheet and hit the "Software" link, it took me to mainboard software update page. ....

Great the downloads aren't starting. Arg, i'm going to school. Anyone else had these problems in general with MSI? Up until now, i've had a very high opinion of MSI, and have installed their products in fair number of computers, but now i'm starting to rethink that opinion.
