ive decided to get an lcd (15") i know small but its all i can really afford any brands to get or stay away from?

hmmm...a good digital 15" lcd such as the samsung 152t (355 on newegg) is only about 40-50 cheaper than an analog nec 1760v or the benq that uses the same panel. Maybe you should look into those too if roughly 250-350 was ur range on a 15", why not spend 350-400 on a 17". You will be much happier with the screen real estate. For as much as lcds cost you don't want to pay 300 for 15 inches.

try benq, viewsonic, samsung, hitachi. benq has a nice 17" for around $350ish.

i'd spend a little extra and get a 17.. the price difference isnt that great.

i just bought this monitor a couple weeks ago and when ibought it, it was only 280 it's a very good monitor with digitla and analog outputs 3 year warranty and it's so sexy :P it's really really thin with no ghosting in games at all for me it's a very good monitor for the price GREAT
