I found a great deal. Best buy has this monitor for 149.99. Before i buy it. Is this monitor crap? I do minor gamming and alot of surfing. See sig for specs on pc.

I am sort of in the same situation as you but I hardly ever game. I also saw this monitor in the ad but I just don't think buying this monitor is a smart purchase, 14" is pretty small for a monitor (I know I'm using some crappy 13.2" monitor for all my life) and basically if I was you I'd save up a couple more dollars and go for something bigger. But then again if you currently have a tiny monitor I guess this may be a good buy.

50ms response time = major ghosting in games.

50ms is waaay to high for FPS games. but I suppose its managable for stuff like RTS games.

BTW, even though a 14" LCD screen may seem small on paper, its actually the equivalent of about a 15" - 16" CRT.

Working at best buy, I can tell you guys that this moitor is crap. The response time sucks, the image quality sucks worse, and it is a power hungry little thing. This moitor draws more current than our 19" CRTs.
Stay very far away from this monitor unless you are putting it on a word-processing/internet-surfing only machine
