My monitor is getting exceedingly hot - my room temperature is a toasty 33C in the UK here (great weather) but unfortunately my iiyama VM pro 452 is extremely hot to touch. On top of the case I can barely lay my hand on it - is this going to kill my monitor?

heat is the number one killer of all electronics. can you get an oscilating fan on it or something of the sort? need some airflow over it.

less it's just average hot and you're a wuss about pain.

if you wanted to go as far as to mount a fan inside there, you could... but it'd be a PITA, especially finding a 21V source. you could set a case fan on top of it and just poer it from.... something :-| that's get the air movin through there a little more.
