I picked up a second monitor (16inch Nanao w/e monitor) at some yard sale today for 5$ for use with my ?svga? port on my Radeon 9500p. i was fooling around with the settings, (making my desktop extend into the other monitor,) but there wasnt anything i couold see that would make havin a second monitor do any good. So my question, how do i get this all to work? i got this second monitor, how do i do some cool crap with it? Thanks alot.

My friend just go an LCD monitor, and now he has two montors as well. He also couldn't figure out how to get the dual monitors to work for a while. nVIDIA is alot easier in my opinion to get dual monitors to work, but I still preffer ATI ;) but anyway, lets see if I can remember what he did. Ok, I remember. Go ahead and go to settings under display properties, but don't click advanced. Windows should have two monitors listed there. There should also be a check down at the bottom left corner of this screen that says extend my desktop to this monitor (or something to that effect). Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what he did, but I do remember this is where he got it to work. Play around with it, shouldn't be too hard. That is the only way I know of enabling a dual view for ATI. I'm sure there has to be another way, but that way works so I don't see any need to persue the information. Well, anyway, hope that helps out. If not, sorry :( I tried.
