can some please tell me if there is a monitor that can support 2 computers ie. with a switch to change from computer to another without having swap cables thanks.

you could get somthing that it plugs into wich in turn plugs intothe computer and then you flip a switch and it switches outputs... or YOU MIGHT be able to set up a switch of some sort that splices the cable and you flip it and picks the monitpor( that woul dbe really hard though)... i dont think there areany monitors that can show 2 computers on one screen if thats what you are asking:D
Yes, there are. I know one Sony model (the GDM-5410, I think) has two connectors on the back and a switch to change between them.

My Sony CPD-G420S has dual monitor inputs. You flip a switch on the front of the monitor to switch. I'm not using it yet but I think I may in the future.
Plus it's a VERY nice monitor.
