Best card?

Im going to be recording tracks and making beats through my system and would like to know whats going to give me the best quality audio? For around $100.00 to hold me up, till I get more funds a for a better card.

They list a couple of cards for under $100 that sould suite you well. But your probably better off saving the $100 and adding onto it to get the better card sooner then just getting one right now that your going to replace anyway.

Does anyone know anything about the DMX 6fire LT. Its for the most part a DMX 6fire on a diet something like how the Creative Labs Audigy2 is to its Platinum series.
